According to tripadvisor.com Sushi Dai is the number 3 restaurant out of 7,358 restaurant in Chuo, Tokyo, Japan. As my sister being highly determined that she would queue for this restaurant, finally all of my family decided to queue for this restaurant for nearly 3 hours. (I guess this is why Japan is known for their discipline in queuing, everyone is very willing to queue even for hours). We head to Tsukiji (Fish) Market in Tokyo, very early in the morning it was about 5 o’ clock in the morning, and guess what, the queue was quite long already. What I know is that to be the first one in the queue, you should start queuing from 2.30 in the morning, which the restaurant open at 5 in the morning. So here is the condition of Tsukiji Market in the very early morning.

And this one is the long queue of Sushi Dai!

So as mentioned above, Sushi Dai is actually located in the Tsukiji Market, so while queuing you can take turn with your family and going around the market looking for street foods. And, in Tsukiji there are so many sushi restaurant, so probably just make sure you are queuing for the right one, actually the only sushi restaurant with this long queue is Sushi Dai.

Finally after about 3 hours, I succeeded to have a seat. The restaurant is quite small, so each round there will be about 14 people inside, and the menu is only 3 types, so they serve omakase, you can choose there are 3 prices, JPY 2000, 3000 or 4000. The more expensive, the more sushi you will get. I chose the JPY 4000, I got around 11 sushi and another free one bonus to choose. So here is how the restaurant look inside.

Honestly speaking, the sushi were very fresh indeed, there are 3 chefs inside right in front of you, and they made the sushi right in front of you. Probably, this is why the queue was so long, I guess? Here is what I ate there!

Yep everything was nice, but the queue was totally pain in the ass. Well, the price is worth the taste, but honestly, I don’t think the queue worthy enough lol. So my recommendation, if you have quite some spare time, then why not you try, but if you were quite busy, you better go find another sushi restaurant (lol). Right after eating in Sushi Dai, I went back to the hotel, and everyone feel like want to go back to sleep (lol), but near at the lunch time, we visited the Disney Sea, it was nice, but the weather was not that nice, the wind was soooo windy (?) and some of the attractions were sadly cancelled. So, I don’t think I will make a post for Disney Sea, but this is it the post for Sushi Dai, I hope Sushi Lovers, you can get a clearer image, right before heading to Sushi Dai. If you don’t know how to get here, well this was very close to my hotel at the time, so if your hotel around Ginza, you can just walk with google maps to Tsukiji Market, and ask people around you, because everyone will know this place!
